Pendant - Asayaki (morning glow)

This pendant, named 'Asayake' (morning glow), is created with colors such as vermilion, orange, yellow, and brown, inspired by the hues felt from the sun. The base is made of lightweight paper clay, layered with colored washi paper(traditional Japanese paper). The natural texture of the fibers the kozo tree(mulberry tree) adds a unique touch.

The vibrant colors of the sun bring a sense of energy by just looking at them. Gold leaf is added for the finishing touch. The matching cord in similar tones is made of French rayon, giving it a glossy appearance and making it easy to coordinate. It complements red tones.

It seems versatile, working well as an accent for white or black clothing. Since it doesn't use metal, it is suitable for individuals with metal allergies. The washi paper used is from Ogawa Washi in Saitama. The cord's length can be adjusted by pulling the rounded ends at both sides.
