This paper knife is inspired by Atsu-kiri Hasebe (圧切長谷部), the legendary sword once wielded by Oda Nobunaga. The blade features the sword's name engraved, and the temper line (hamon) is crafted in a distinctive “notare” wave pattern, reflecting the flowing elegance of traditional Japanese blades.
-
The scabbard’s black and gold two-tone color scheme evokes the commanding presence and dignity of Nobunaga himself.
-
Expertly sharpened one by one by skilled craftsmen in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, known as Japan’s town of blades, ensuring a smooth and satisfying cut—even through envelopes.
-
The included display stand allows the knife to be showcased when not in use, making it both practical and ornamental.
-
The scabbard keeps the blade safely enclosed, preventing it from being exposed, and ensures secure and safe storage.
